Botxona vs your own VPS
You can run a bot on your own VPS, but it isn't a one-off job — it needs ongoing attention.
What you have to do on your own VPS
- Setup — install Docker (or another runtime), configure networking and the firewall, manage SSH keys.
- Updates — keep the operating system and libraries up to date and track security patches.
- Monitoring — you have to notice yourself when the bot goes down (or set up a separate monitoring service).
- Backups — write backup scripts yourself, run them regularly and store the copies somewhere else.
- Isolation — if several bots run, separating them from each other (containers, network setup) is also on you.
All of this takes time and know-how — on top of even a cheap VPS rental.
With Botxona
All of the above is ready: each bot runs in its own isolated container, daily backups are automatic, and monitoring and sleep/wake are handled by the system. All that's left for you is uploading the code — details: How it works.
On price
A VPS rental may look cheaper than hosting, but factor in the time spent on setup and monitoring. Botxona's prices are listed clearly in UZS on the Pricing page — with no extra setup costs.
Which to choose
If you enjoy managing servers and have the time, a VPS is a fine option too. If you want your bot running sooner with less operational overhead, log in and try Botxona.
