How the Ready-made bots catalog works

Ready-made bots are a collection of Telegram bot templates built by Botxona that require no coding: browse the catalog. Each one covers a common task (group moderation, shop, questionnaire, queue, etc.), has already passed the checks and can be launched right away.

How to choose and launch

  1. Find the bot you need in the catalog — by category, tags or search.
  2. Click "Launch" (or "Launch for free") on the bot's page — it takes you to the setup page.
  3. Get a token from @BotFather and enter it.
  4. Fill in the settings form (details below).
  5. Choose a plan — some bots also run on the Free plan.
  6. The bot starts within a few seconds; follow the steps shown on the page (for example, add the bot to your group).

Settings form

Each ready-made bot has its own list of settings — for example, the admin list, a welcome text, an operating mode. Form fields come in several types:

  • Text / multi-line text — e.g. the welcome message.
  • Number — e.g. a threshold value.
  • IDs — Telegram user IDs as a comma-separated list (usually for admins).
  • Chat / channel — one or more group/channel addresses (-100... or @username).
  • Yes/no — on/off toggle.
  • Choice — one of a set of predefined options.

If required fields are left empty, the bot will not launch — the form shows exactly what is missing. You can change settings later in the Settings section.

Group and channel admin rights

Bots that work with a group or channel (such as moderation or post-scheduling bots) need to be added as an admin. When you open the link on the bot's page, Telegram asks you for exactly the rights this bot needs (e.g. "Delete messages", "Ban users") — no extra rights are granted. If the bot ends up without admin rights, it detects this and sends the group admins a reminder once (every 24 hours).

Template updates

From time to time the Botxona team improves the templates (bug fixes, new settings). Your bot's page shows when a new version is available — pressing "Update" redeploys the latest code while keeping your existing settings. If the new version has an additional required setting, you will be asked to fill it in first.

I want to write my own code — what now?

A ready-made bot can also serve as a starting point:

  1. Download the source code as a ZIP from the bot's page.
  2. Modify the code yourself or with an AI assistant — for example, add a new command.
  3. Upload the modified code as a new bot on a paid plan (see the Preparing a ZIP guide). Note: the Free plan only works with unmodified ready-made bots from the catalog — details.
