Connecting via GitHub and auto-deploy
Instead of uploading a ZIP file over and over, you can connect your bot's code to a GitHub repository.
Connecting
When creating the bot, or later under Settings → General, enter the GitHub repository link (https://github.com/user/repo) and, optionally, a branch name (main if left empty). Only public repositories are supported — if you provide a private repo link, the system rejects it with a clear error (make the repository public or upload via ZIP).
Every time you press "Redeploy", the system fetches the latest state of the repository and re-checks it against the 6 rules and for security.
Automatic deploy (webhook)
On the Pro and Business plans, the bot is automatically redeployed on every push to main (or the selected branch) — no need to press "redeploy" manually.
Setup
- Open the Settings section on the bot page — if a GitHub repo is connected, the "GitHub auto-deploy" card shows a ready-made link (Webhook URL).
- Copy the link.
- Go to your repository on GitHub: Settings → Webhooks → Add webhook.
- Paste the copied link into the Payload URL field.
- Content type —
application/json. - Which events — select only the
pushevent. - Click Add webhook.
From then on, every push automatically runs the pipeline: fetch the code → 6 rules + security check → build → smoke test → if everything passes, switch the live bot to the new version (promote). If the check comes back 🔴, the currently running version stays untouched — no risk of "breaking" your bot.
Next step
The webhook link is unique to each bot and secret — don't post it publicly. About the deploy process: Reading the check result. Plan features: Plans.
