Analytics — metrics in plain language
Botxona collects statistics about your bot without any code changes — they are computed automatically from every request that passes through the proxy (how it works).
Core metrics
- Users — the number of unique people who have written to the bot at least once (all time).
- DAU (Daily Active Users) — the number of people who used the bot today (last 24 hours).
- WAU (Weekly Active Users) — the number of people who used the bot in the last 7 days.
- Updates — any event the bot receives: a message, a button press, and so on.
- Errors — the number of times the Telegram API answered a bot request with an error (for example, trying to message a user who blocked the bot).
- Average response time — the time (in milliseconds) until the Telegram API responds to the bot's request. It measures the bot's speed and depends more on network conditions than on code quality.
Full analytics (Pro and Business)
The Start plan includes the core metrics above. Pro and Business add:
- Top commands — which commands (
/start,/help, etc.) users run most often. - Update types — the breakdown of plain messages, button presses (callbacks), file uploads, and so on.
- API methods — which actions (send message, send photo...) the bot asked Telegram to perform.
- Error breakdown — which method failed with which error code.
- Hourly activity heatmap — at what hours of the day the bot is used most (Tashkent time).
Privacy
Message text is never stored — only metadata: time, update type, command name, a hashed (irreversible) user ID and response time. This means Botxona never sees or stores what your users write — only numbers like "how many", "when" and "how fast".
